Fly the ship. Launch the flights.
Hold the quadrant.
Command a fleet in deep space.
WASD free movement. Arrow keys never move the ship.
Weapons auto-fire at the nearest threat — there is nothing to aim. WASD and the arrow keys both steer. Press Enter for autopilot and the ship flies itself while you work the cards.
Hold Space (or right-click) for a burst of speed. Limited fuel — it recharges when you're not boosting.
Killing enemies drops teal XP shards. Fill the bar to level up and pick a free upgrade.
Fly close to an asteroid to auto-mine it — a ring fades in to show your reach. The laser fires in short ticking bursts; mining-speed upgrades stretch each burst until it's a sustained cut. Aurite is the run's currency, and it's banked permanently between runs. Red asteroids drip HP shards while you mine them instead.
The big hexagonal mass is a little planet in layers: pale crust you chew through fast, then tougher blue ore, then purple crystal around the glowing core. Drill all the way in and kill the core and the whole planet detonates outward, paying out every remaining chunk at once.
Three objectives run at once for the whole quadrant — Easy, Medium, Hard (bottom-right). No clock; clear them whenever for bonus Aurite and XP.
Crossing a checkpoint on the "Draw out the Elite" bar auto-starts a timed cargo run or data-orb sweep (top-center) for a bigger reward.
A separate mode from the title screen, played with both hands on the keyboard. Your own guns hit softer — the damage comes from flights of little ships you launch off your own hull with L ; ' \ (or 1–4). Each flight is three independent craft that fly themselves, take hits and can be shot down.
Both currencies are loot: power cells dropped by kills are the energy you deploy with, and cargo pods are where cards come from. Nothing ticks up on its own, so fighting is the income. Hand full? Dismantle a card with O P [ ] for energy back. With the field full, playing a card you already have ranks that flight up for Aurite instead.
Kills fill the "Draw out the Elite" bar — full bar spawns a boss, and the bar becomes its HP bar. Kill it to open a purple extraction beacon; reach it in time to open a shop, spend Aurite on upgrades, then push into the next (tougher) quadrant.
